ArtemisAgent (Artemis) Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Artemis (“Artemis”, the “App”, listed on TikTok as “ArtemisAgent”, operated by 420.COMPANY) collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. It applies to the Artemis desktop application (macOS and Windows), the Artemis website (play.420.company), and the related licensing and community services. By using Artemis, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Artemis collects: (a) Account information — email, password hash (we never store plaintext passwords), display name, registration number; (b) Licensing information — license status, subscription/plan, license-key redemption records, Saga quota; (c) Device information — device identifiers/fingerprints, app version, login sessions; (d) Usage and security information — audit logs, action records, and access metadata kept to prevent abuse; (e) Information you submit — business verification details, direct messages, and works you upload or showcase.
2. How We Use Your Information
Artemis uses this data only for: account login and email verification, license and device validation, subscription and quota management, customer support, security auditing and abuse prevention, and the features you explicitly request within Artemis (such as showcasing works, business verification, and publishing to third-party platforms). We do not use your personal data for unrelated advertising, and we do not sell it.
3. TikTok Integration
When you connect your TikTok account in Artemis, authorization is performed through TikTok’s official OAuth (Login Kit) — Artemis never sees or stores your TikTok password. We access only the permissions you explicitly authorize: your basic profile (user.info.basic, used to display the connected account’s name and avatar so you can confirm which account is linked), uploading videos to your drafts (video.upload), and publishing videos directly (video.publish).
Your TikTok access token is stored only within the Artemis app on your own device. When you click “Send to TikTok”, we use video.upload to send the single video you selected to your own TikTok drafts, where you finish posting inside TikTok; when you click “Post now”, we use video.publish to post that video, with the caption you set in Artemis, directly to your own TikTok account. All actions are initiated by you, one video at a time, and only with your own account and content. Artemis does not post automatically, does not read or modify any of your other TikTok content, never shares the token with third parties, and never uses it for advertising or profiling. You can disconnect at any time in Artemis, or revoke the authorization in your TikTok account settings.
4. Third-Party Services
Artemis relies on the following providers for infrastructure: Vercel (application hosting), Supabase (database hosting), Resend (email delivery), and any third-party platform you choose to connect (such as TikTok). These providers process data only as necessary to deliver their function to Artemis and are governed by their respective privacy policies.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Artemis does not sell your personal information. We share data only: (a) with your consent; (b) with the service providers listed above as necessary to operate the service; or (c) when required by law or necessary to protect the rights, safety, and property of Artemis, our users, and the public.
6. Data Retention
Artemis retains account and licensing data for as long as your account is active; audit and security logs are kept until no longer needed for security or compliance purposes. After you delete your account, we delete or anonymize the associated personal data within a reasonable period, unless retention is required by law.
7. Data Security
Artemis protects your data using encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed password storage, access controls, and audit logging. However, no system can guarantee absolute security, so please keep your account credentials safe.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your Artemis account data, and to withdraw third-party authorizations (such as TikTok) at any time. To exercise these rights, contact goat@420.company and we will respond within a reasonable period.
9. Children’s Privacy
Artemis is not directed to children under 14 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a minor has provided personal information to Artemis, please contact us so we can delete it.
10. International Data Transfer
To provide the service, Artemis data may be processed and stored on servers outside your country or region. By using Artemis, you understand and consent to such cross-border processing.
11. Cookies and Local Storage
The Artemis website uses essential local storage / cookies to maintain your login session and interface preferences (such as language). We do not use third-party advertising tracking cookies.
12. Changes to This Policy
Artemis may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date on this page and, where appropriate, by additional notice. Continued use of Artemis constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
