Download & Install Artemis

Follow the steps below to install and run it. Read them first, then download — so you don’t get stuck at the system block.

Requirements

Why macOS blocks the first launch

Artemis is not yet Apple-notarized (the developer signature is being set up). macOS blocks any un-notarized app with “cannot verify the developer” or “is damaged and should be moved to the Trash.” This is the system’s default handling for un-notarized apps, not a problem with the file. Clear it once using Step 3 — after that it opens normally with a double-click.

Install steps

1
Download and open the DMG
Click the download button at the bottom of this page to get Artemis.dmg, then double-click to open it.
2
Drag into Applications
In the window that appears, drag the Artemis icon into the “Applications” folder.
3
Clear the system block (pick one — Method A is the most reliable)
Method A — Terminal command (recommended; also fixes “is damaged”)

Open “Terminal”, paste the line below and press Return, then double-click Artemis normally:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Artemis.app
Method B — Right-click to open

In “Applications”, right-click (or Control-click) Artemis → choose “Open” → click “Open” again in the dialog.

Method C — System Settings

Try to open it once (it gets blocked), then go to “System Settings → Privacy & Security”, scroll to the bottom, find “Artemis was blocked”, click “Open Anyway”, and enter your password.

4
Done
After clearing it once, double-clicking Artemis opens it directly from then on, just like any other app.

⬇️ Download Artemis (.dmg)

Clicking it starts downloading Artemis.dmg directly. If it says “is damaged” or “cannot verify the developer” after downloading, use Method A above.
